A cafe POS system for the UAE that ties every drink to its recipe, warns before you run out and checks the drawer at close. See a full shift and the price.
Most systems treat a flat white as one line on a receipt and stop there. foodash is a cafe POS for the UAE that ties every drink to its recipe, so the beans come off the shelf as the cup is sold, the system warns you before you run out, and at close the drawer is checked against what was actually rung up.

A cafe POS should know what is behind every cup, not just what it costs.
One shift in a UAE cafe, start to finish
Not a feature list. This is the order a cafe actually does things in, and what foodash is doing while you do them.
At the counter: the POS knows what is behind every cup
Each drink carries a recipe, so the beans, the milk and the cup are attached to the button the cashier presses. When something behind a drink has run down, the item says so on the grid and the cashier is told at the moment of ordering rather than at the machine. It still lets the sale through, because a system that refuses to take money during the morning rush is worse than one that warns you, and VAT is worked out at 5% on the spot.

At the bar: drinks land on the bar screen as they are sent
Every order reaches the bar the moment it is sent, each ticket with its own timer running. One tap marks a drink ready, another dispatches the ticket and clears it off the board. The counter at the top says how many are live and how long the oldest has been waiting, so nobody has to ask.

On the shelf: stock moves on the sale, not at the end of the month
Because the recipes are linked, selling a drink takes its ingredients off the shelf there and then. Each item carries its supplier, its cost per unit and the level you want to reorder at, and the value of everything on hand is totalled in money rather than in units. Anything running low or critical is counted for you at the top.

At close: the drawer is checked against what was sold
Cash Audit lays out every day in the window: the float, what was sold in cash, what went out, what the drawer should therefore have held, and what was actually counted. Short and over are separated rather than netted off. It also tells you which days were opened and never closed, because a day without a closing count is a day nobody can check.

What foodash does not do yet

- No delivery app integration. Talabat, Careem and Deliveroo orders are keyed in like any other order.
- Loyalty is an add on at AED 50 a month, not part of the base plan.
Questions cafe owners ask
Will foodash run on the iPad I already have?
Yes. foodash runs in the browser on any reasonably current iPad. The kitchen display works on any HDMI screen with a small mini PC behind it, and Bluetooth thermal printers pair directly. There is no foodash hardware to buy.
What does a cafe actually pay?
AED 400 a month, or AED 2,094 once for six months, or AED 3,600 once for the year. One user is included, extra users are AED 50 a month each, and loyalty is an optional AED 50 a month. No setup fee and no cut of your sales.
Can I run two branches?
Yes, as two subscriptions. Each branch is its own account at the normal price, so a second branch is another AED 400 a month on the monthly plan.
Does it connect to Talabat, Careem or Deliveroo?
No. There is no delivery app integration today, so those orders are entered like any other order. If most of your sales come through delivery apps, foodash is not the right fit yet.
How long does it take to get going?
Most cafes take real orders the same day. Sign up takes about a minute, and onboarding scans a photo or PDF of your menu to build your categories, items and prices for you.
Where is my data held?
In the EU, in Frankfurt, handled in line with UAE PDPL and GDPR expectations. Prices are in dirhams and VAT is handled at 5%.
